Individuals who are able to work from home enjoy many benefits. They do not have to spend money on travel to and from work, they do not have to have a lot of professional clothing to wear while working at home, they are able to take care of some household responsibilities in between work, and they usually just have a lot more flexibility than individuals who have to work and 9-to-5 job in an office or other setting. However, anyone who has ever worked at home knows that staying focused on work can sometimes be a challenge.

Next, make sure that you schedule breaks. If you work for a couple of hours solid, it may be difficult for you to focus later on. This is especially the case if you are doing work on your computer or online. Get up every half an hour or so to move around. Make a cup of coffee or do some stretches. This will help you to return to your work with more energy. When you cram an entire day of work in to one morning, that afternoon and the days following are likely to be less productive. Schedule your time appropriately.
You also want to make sure that your job is your priority when you have scheduled to do it. Even though you have more flexibility than others who work in an office, when you constantly obligate your self to other things during your scheduled work time, your work will suffer and so will the rest of your schedule.
