GHAMPANI (2017 / 2074) is the Nepali movie made under the banner of A Cinema Art Production in Association with Torch Light Productions and Aslesha Entertainment. The movie Dayahang Rai, and Keki Adhikari in the lead role with Ankeet Khadka, Silsa Jirel, Prakash Ghimire, Puskar Gurung, Buddhi Tamang, Kabita Ale, Aruna Karki, Amogh Pokharel as other supporting roles.
The movie Ghampani is about a boy (Phurba Tamang) and a girl (Tara Sharma) (played by Dayahang Rai and Keki Adhikari respectively) of a village who fall in love with each other. Both of them come from different caste background facing ups and down in their social life. The film tries to show struggles of a couple being in an inter-caste relationship.
